In Auckland

As at December 2016 the canine team are at Henderson in Auckland. Whilst we are primarily an Auckland based charity, we do place dogs with recipients around the country. From Invercargill to Northland. The work of Grant Reid in Southern Lakes allows us to raise, train and place dogs in the South Island.  We also have a puppy raising group in Hamilton which is overseen by Corinna Cooper from our Canine Team.

Future

We are presently in the early stages of a  substantial capital project in Karaka.  We envisage a centre which allows us to combine our adminsitration, training, kennelling and breeding facilities. Together with our staff, dogs and education programmes. Our centre will also allow for judicious future expansion.  We have a proven history of placing high quality service dogs throughout New Zealand and successfully running the Puppies in Prison programme.  The centre will through its design and functionality provide the most integrated environment possible for the Trust, those involved with the Trust and th disabled community of New Zealand.
